Mental Health Clinical Assessment
Clinical assessment will include self-report testing instruments, clinical interview, alcohol/drug testing if needed, and appropriate recommendations. We do not prescribe medications or do psychological evaluations. Referrals may be made for these services. Clinical assessment will last 60-90 minutes and is $185.

Individual Therapy
We are all impacted at some point in our lives by anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, illness, loss, and or addictions. North Iowa Counseling, LLC provides support to navigate life’s obstacles. Together we will work to explore situations and pitfalls that led you to where you are, identify where you want to go, and work to get you there. We will work at identifying and challenging negative thoughts and beliefs, replacing them with healthy strategies, instilling hope, and improving your self-image. Sessions last 45-50 minutes. OWI Assessment & OWI Class
Substance abuse assessment for individuals receiving an OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) charge to determine appropriate level of treatment and/or education needed. Assessment will include clinical interview, self-report testing instruments, any collateral information, and UA/breathalyzer. Recommendations will be communicated with attorney and DOT. Cost for evaluation is $125 and needs to be paid at the time of the evaluation. “Every new day is a chance to change your life.”
North Iowa Counseling, LLC provide the PRIME for Life/OWI 12-hour group for those that have received an OWI . Attendance is required for all 12 hours. Cost is $180 and must be paid at time of registration. Call (319) 559-1065 for times and to get registered.

Insurances Accepted For Counseling Services
We are currently able to accept the following insurances for counseling services: HealthPartners, Medica, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, Midland’s Choice, Amerigroup, Cigna, Iowa Total Care, and Medicaid. You will be responsible for any copays. You are encouraged to contact your insurance to ensure that services would be covered prior to scheduling.
