Brad Hjelmeland, LISW IADC
I provide support to children (10+), teens, adults, and couples, navigating depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship concerns. My approach is collaborative and grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and motivational interviewing (MI). When desired, I also integrate faith-based perspectives to promote deeper healing and meaning.
My passion for helping others comes from my own journey with individual and family challenges related to mental health and substance use. Together, we’ll focus on building practical tools that foster growth, clarity, and confidence.

Angie Hjelmeland, CADC
I work with pre-teens, teens and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or just feeling stuck in life. I also enjoy helping people strengthen their relationships and find more balance in their day-to-day lives. My approach is down-to-earth, compassionate, and collaborative. I want clients to feel safe, seen, and supported. I often use tools from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), talk therapy, and mindfulness. But I also believe that connection and trust are at the heart of real healing.
I chose counseling because I’ve experienced how powerful it can be to have someone truly listen and believe in you. Life can be messy and painful at times, and I wanted to be someone who helps others find hope, healing, and confidence in themselves again.
